Salò is one of the most beautiful towns around Lake Garda and probably in Italy. We went there last year and the year before that, and I’m going back this year sometime. Many towns near Lake Garda are boring around that time of year but Salò is pretty all year round , and I actually prefer it when there are mainly locals around, and all the holidaymakers are at home or skiiing somewhere!
Speaking of which , Salò isn’t that far from Madonna di Campiglio which is one of the best Italian ski resorts . It’s only about 100km away .

There is an amazing market in Salò held each Saturday , which actually has some really good clothes and bags.

Maybe I’ll meet someone special next time I go .
