There are various kinds of abdominoplasty surgery offered in America today. A lot depends on the kind of service requested by the client. There is ‘complete’ tummy tuck surgery which involves making a reasonably large incision from slightly above the pubic area, to the navel. The skin is then separated from the stomach wall and the stomach muscles exposed and tightened. There is also ‘partial’ tummy tuck surgery available. This involves a smaller incision, although in same area. This surgery does not actually tighten the muscles. More, it stretches and removes the excess skin from the area. Once the skin is taut it is stitched back into place. The third kind of abdominoplasty is an ‘extended’ tummy tuck. This is not a new procedure, simply a mixture of the two other styles.
