Since the “unemployment” rate isn’t about to come down, anytime in the near future, the Economy will have only a “fake” recovery. The “so-called” recovery that’s already in progress is just a facade, due to the same stimulus package already in the works.
Many companies have cut costs, forcing millions of people to lose their income.
The size of everyday consumer goods has been reduced, but the prices have remained the same or in many instances, risen!. This is pushing inflation to the fore-front.
The “Treasury” has made claim that they are going to keep interest rates low for an extended period of time,which is resulting in a weakened dollar.
This poor “monetary” policy isn’t helping out at all, it’s making things even worse.
Many of the “Wall Street” entities have been converted into Banking Institutions, which is not at all their original purpose was.
What’s scary is that these same companies are STILL acting as Banking Institutions, reaping huge profits at the expense of the everyday consumer.
Why are these companies allowed to do this? Simply put- Pure Greed!
We’ve been in a depression era for at least a minimum of 1 year.
Why hasn’t the public hasn’t been told?
In my opinion, the worst is yet to come!
America’s currency is about to sink to the bottom of the sea of the deepest ocean, due to the government’s lack of restraint in spending and fiscal oversight.
When America’s currency hits rock bottom- America will lose Global Reserve Currency status, which will greatly effect everything you purchase.
If the dollar loses any more of it’s value, everything that you buy will be based on some other currency, the global economies are going to change and this will cause the American currency to suffer greatly!
People are basically forced to just sit back and take this, so BE PREPARED.
Where will be the Economy really end up is anyone’s guess, but my personal opinion- IN THE TOILET!

I own several readers at the present time including the Kindle 2 and two sonys. The DX is an excellent machine but I do find my self using the Kindle 2 more ofter simply due to the portability. The DX especially with the leather cover is somewhat unwieldly and heavy to hold for very long. If you see well then the Kindle 2 will do about everything you need except for the native PDF files. I must say that for travel the Kindle 2 is my best bet. I use the DX some but probably can’t justify the high cost of purchase when compared to the “2″
