Beakman Place has always been a happy place for people who want to live on the east River.

My grandfather had a fabulous duplex at 21 Beekman Place and we had a super view of this historic river.

The river views are spectacular especially at dusk and you are always near Mid-Town Manhattan for easy access to Southapmton and great restaurants.

like the older Beakman Place properties best since they have a history to them and are usually located in areas with better views.

These Beekman Place homes today is still very chic and costly.

But also very safe and clean. Many United Nations workers live nearby as the United Nations is here too. Therefore there are numerous five star nightspots close by.

My favorite Beeckman Place townhouses are: 12 Beekman Place.

One thing you do miss is the close proximity to Fifth Avenue for my parents and their puppy to get exercise.

But the parks behind Sutton Place that runs along the East River is veryconvenient.
